Plastic model kit of two WWI fighter aircraft. The pace of aviation development during the First World War was nothing short of astonishing: in less than twelve months, aircraft transformed from weak, unarmed observation platforms to deadly masters of the skies. The year 1917 was to prove momentous for the air war over the trenches of the Western Front, as the British introduced their powerful Bristol F.2B Fighter, a true multi-role aircraft, and the Germans their Fokker DR.1, an aircraft that was to become famous for the redoubtable Manfred von Richthofen. A period of relentless aerial combat began, with both sides fighting for air supremacy. 57 parts in all.
