The first ARRMA 4X4 MEGA Street Basher
The 4X4 MEGA platform from ARRMA has gone street and it is looking good! The INFRACTION 4X4 MEGA Street Bash Resto-Mod Truck takes the superb looking and super quick Infraction and has combined it with the toughness of the 4X4 MEGA giving you a fully equipped 1/8th scale juggernaut that will suit new and experienced drivers alike.
Whether it is short grass, dirt courses, loose gravel and any on-road and slightly off-road smoother surfaces the INFRACTION™ 4X4 MEGA Street Bash Resto-Mod Truck comes factory assembled and almost ready to go straight out of the box. Featuring steering with more clearance for stones, sliding gear mesh, rubber-shielded bearings throughout, a castellated slipper pad and a strengthened composite chassis the time tested ARRMA 4X4 MEGA provides the best platform for going hard. The chassis tub features dirt defenders with extended height to limit the amount of debris and dirt that gets in. There is also a large integrated foam front bumper that seamlessly fits with the body of your INFRACTION™ 4X4 MEGA Street Bash Resto-Mod Truck for maximum protection.
ARRMA’s easy access modular design makes performing maintenance simple. There are easily removable and separate chassis modules for the electronics, differential components and power system. The ride height can be easily adjusted due to the oil-filled shocks with threaded O-rings. To complete the ultimate road-hugging package the INFRACTION™ 4X4 MEGA Street Bash Resto-Mod Truck also features front and rear sway bars, wishbone suspension on the front and rear, and, a large rear diffuser.
With a MEGA 9T brushed 570 powerful motor and brushless ready transmission onboard your INFRACTION™ 4X4 MEGA Street Bash Resto-Mod Truck can really go. If you add the optional pinion gear that is sold separately you can push this street basher past 40k’s an hour. Giving you the grip where it counts are a set of vented dBoots Katar all-road high-quality rubber tyres mounted to strengthened gun-metal grey coloured nylon wheels and include premium quality inserts for superior tread support.
The ARRMA engineers kitted the INFRACTION™ 4X4 MEGA Street Bash Resto-Mod Truck out with Spektrum electronics starting with the SLT3 2.4GHz transmitter, the Spektrum SLR300 receiver, and, the S650 Spektrum Digital Steering Servo giving you the dependable and precise control that you’ll need when you are putting this RC Street Truck through its paces. Featuring an ergonomically friendly design the Spektrum transmitter allows you to drive fatigue-free and also features a foam wheel to give precise fingertip control. If you are a new driver you can set the throttle to 50% or 75% depending on your driving skill and the learning curve you want to take on. Compatible with Tactic SLT receivers the SLT3 Transmitter allows you to run other rtr cars and also features a third channel for controlling additional features like winches and lights that you may have on other RC vehicles.
You’ve heard about the power and the specs but how does it look? Pretty damn good in either the red/blue or teal/bronze paint schemes on the signature Infraction Resto-Mod truck bodies. The bodies are protected from high-speed rolls by roof skids and roll bars just in case you happen to overdo it.
Included with the ARRMA INFRACTION™ 4X4 MEGA Street Bash Resto-Mod Truck is an 8.4V 7-cell Dynamite NiMh battery and wall charger. You will need four AA batteries for the transmitter and then you are good to go!
