This is the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner model equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make this an easier 787 to fly. SAFE Select also features an automatic Hand Launch Assist mode that senses the force of a hand launch and adds up-elevator so the airplane climbs at a higher angle for a few seconds, making launches easier.

View it on compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others) while you fly.

The factory-installed twin brushless power systems feature 30mm fans with powerful 3S-compatible outrunner motors. This setup delivers excellent speed and performance, plus longer-than-average EDF flight times, when using the recommended 600mAh non-Smart and 850mAh Smart 30+C LiPo batteries with an IC2 connector. It also features optional-use motor/thrust reversing to help shorten rollout after landing.

The result is an outstanding scale appearance that's easy to maintain and delivers the best possible flying experience. It's also easily repairable with odorless/foam-safe CA, Foam 2 Foam, epoxy, and other foam-friendly adhesives — and a complete line of replacement and spare parts is readily available should you need them.
