A vintage biplane fighter

It was the last biplane fighter built for the Army Air Corps, and one of the most beautiful bipes of the 1930s. By the time the P-6E Hawk was introduced, however, the era of fabric-covered wood biplanes was already giving way to mass production, advanced aerodynamics and aluminum skins. Today, the only original P-6E Hawk still in existence is on display at the U.S. Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio.
