    Premium performance with the Spektrum iX20 SE

    The Spektrum IX20se is the most intelligent, powerful and feature-packed transmitter to date. Experienced pilots have relied on the tools that the iX20 provides to fly today’s high-performance aircraft. The Spektrum iX20 Special Edition transmitter includes all the original connectivity innovations and programming but with the addition of exclusive upgrades to bring you an even higher level of RC flying.

    The advanced precision Hall effect sensor gimbals are offered on the iX20 but on the iX20 SE the gimbals are constructed from premium machined aluminium to give you maximized ergonomic comfort, extremely smooth operation and low maintenance. You can go hands-free with the iX20 SE with a lanyard style, high-quality neck strap. To transport your iX20 SE safely and with some style, there is a special edition dual transmitter aluminium case included. Perfect for your daily fly, or, heading to a big flying meet.

    To make the iX20 SE even more appealing to high-level RC pilots Spektrum utilised the skills of AircraftStudioDesign and Mirco Pecorari to design a transmitter with the advanced ergonomic features required for high-level RC flying. The biggest feature is the giant, colour touch display screen with industry-leading Android technology. The 5-inch touchscreen is easy to read and has a 720p high-resolution HD colour interface that allows you to view new telemetry gauges and also has the power to graph expo curves and other indicators with greater accuracy. The 5-inch touchscreen will boot up in less than 30 seconds and will wake from sleep mode in one second or less. With a processing speed that is approximately 250% faster than the iX20, the iX20 SE version is certainly more powerful. With the super responsive touchscreen, you can make precise changes quickly and easily and see the text and detail clearly. To program model setting changes you just tap your way into programming, select the model and your away. Being an Android interview you can also upload any relevant apps from the Google Play store.

    Bluetooth, Wi-fi and USB Connectivity

    When the iX20 SE is hooked up to Wi-Fi it gets even smarter. Update alerts from the Spektrum AirWare Touch app come through automatically plus you can also download model setups as well as add third-party apps. Being able to connect to just about any Bluetooth device means the iX20 SE can use your phone’s earpiece or wireless earbuds for voice alerts. You can even play music as you fly if that’s your thing. The internal Li-Ion battery can be charged through a micro-USB port with an ordinary USB to Micro USB cable. You can use this port to connect up to flight controllers, your PC or laptop, and, recognize accessory devices.

    SMART Technology compatible

    With built-in telemetry compatibility, the iX20 SE transmittercan give you real-time data on critical functions like motor temperature, battery voltage and more. The iX20 SE can transmit data from telemetry enabled sensors and receivers already installed and it is fully compatible with the range of Spektrum Smart Batteries, receivers and ESCs. The real-time data is transferred onto your screen in clear concise language and graphics ensuring you get the vital information before anything unforeseen happens. You can program the iX20 SE to give you voice alerts when specific telemetry values reach or exceed defined limits, and, you can hear a sequence of telemetry values on demand with just the flick of a switch. You can also customize the telemetry displays to your liking with pages and gauges and text sizing all adjustable to your preference.

    20+ channels

    The Spektrum iX20 SE is very versatile. You can use 4 channels or all 20. The simple language and logic used in the intuitive programming allow you to set up and operate any aircraft type easily. You can also add features and custom tune whenever you like. If 20 channels are not enough then you can utilise the              SPMXP8000 – sold separately and add an additional 8 channels. This is simply a matter of plugging the module into a compatible receiver then binding it to the iX20 SE. You can then assign the extra channels to any extra functions you may need.
